Owner Dr. R.T. (Bill) Goldston, is a specialist in Veterinary Internal Medicine. He specializes in Geriatric medicine. Dr. Goldston has practiced in St. Petersburg for over 30 years. He is available for referral of geriatric companion animals and second opinions on internal medicine cases. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University in 1967. He serves as a consultant for various research and wildlife facilities. Dr. Goldston edited the first comprehensive book on veterinary geriatrics entitled "Geriatrics and Gerontology of the Dog and Cat", which is now published in five languages. Walter Bruno, DVMVeterinarian Veterinarian Dr. Michelle D. Falcon is a 2002 graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine and has been practicing in Pinellas county for the last 6 years. She has specialty training in small exotic companion animal medicine and a fondness for feline and internal medicine. Married to Darryl for 18 years, she is also the mother of two young boys (Cetan and Hinhan). She shares her home with 2 dogs (Peekay and Gideon), 3 cats (Mesquite, Mica and Black Coffee Cat), and 2 ferrets (Cookie and Ferra). Mickie HoelzlePractice Manager Mickie graduated St. Petersburg College in 1978 with a degree in Animal Science. She then pass the Veterinary Certification Exam. Since 1978 she has worked in the Veterinary Field either as a Veterinary Technician or Hospital manager. Mickie has 3 dogs, a Rottweiler, Labrador and Boxer mix and 1 cat at home. ![]() Breanna Curcuruto Receptionist Breanna graduated from Boga Ciega High School. She has worked for us part-time while going to High School. She has blue eyed baby boy named Logan. Breanna stays very busy at home with Logan and her dog Hope. She found Hope 2 years ago running in and out of traffic!! Melissa GarnerReceptionist Melissa was born in Plant City, FL. She moved to St. Petersburg in 1981. She has a 26 year old son, Adrian, 16 year old daughter, Taylor, and 4 cats. Between her children's softball games, her bowling league and her 4 cats she keeps very busy. She has worked at our hospital since we opened and has worked as a receptionist in the Veterinary field for the past 19 years. Michelle StaffordVeterinary Technician Michelle was born in Detroit Michigan. She graduated from Wayne State University with an Associate of Science degree. She also graduated from Michigan State with an Associate of Arts degree. Michelle has two kittys at home named Lilly and Pumba. When she is not working she enjoys all outside activities including camping, fishing and gardening. Valerie Myers, CVTCertified Veterinary Technician Valerie went to school at St. Petersburg College where she graduated from the Veterinary Technology program in 1992. Valerie has worked as a technician for Dr. Goldston for over 10 years. When she is not working she is keeping busy at home with her husband, Bob and teenage son Zack. Also at home are her other children, Jag, Jewel and Saber. Doug CulmerVeterinary Assistant Doug is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he attended the W.B. Saul High School of Agricultural Science and majored in small and large Animal Science. He has over 8 years of experience and training in Laboratory Animal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School Of Medicine and later worked as a lab animal technician at the Robert Wood Johnson Pharmaceutical Research Institute in Springhouse, PA. Doug is certified by the American Association of Laboratory Animal Science, as both an Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician and Laboratory Animal Technician. Bethany PierceReceptionist Bethany was born and raised in Wisconson, yes that makes her a big time Packers fan!. She decided she had enough of the cold weather and packed up her boyfriend and cats and moved to Florida. In August Bethany will be attending St. Petersburg College to receive her degree in Animal Science. We look forward to Bethany finishing school and working full time with us as a Certified Veterinary Technician. Veterinary Technican Groomer Stephanie Healey has more than 35 years experience grooming dogs of all breeds. She specializes in traditional and contemporary cuts for small and large breeds, she studied with Dr. Crowson of Clearwater and Viola of Marshfield, Massachusetts. She works with clients on custom cuts and encourages new and continuing clients to bring photographs for review and consultation. She is accepting appointments for regularly scheduled grooming services as well as seasonal or occasional appointments.
