R.T. Goldston, DVM
(Specialty Geriatrics)
Dr. R.T. (Bill) Goldston, DVM is a specialist in Veterinary Internal Medicine.
He specializes in Geriatric medicine. Dr. Goldston has practiced in St.
Petersburg for over 30 years. He is available for referral of geriatric
companion animals and second opinions on internal medicine cases. He received
his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University in 1967.
He serves as a consultant for various research and wildlife facilities. Dr.
Goldston edited the first comprehensive book on veterinary geriatrics entitled
"Geriatrics and Gerontology of the Dog and Cat", which is now published in five
languages.

Mickie Hoelzle, C.V.T.
(Certified Veterinary Technician)
| Mickie Hoelzle graduated from St. Petersburg Junior College in 1978 with her
degree in Animal Science. Also in 1978 she successfully passed an examination
as a Veterinary Technician and became Certified in the State of Florida. Since
graduating Mickie has continually worked in the field of Veterinary Medicine in
the Tampa Bay area. |

Melissa Garner
(Receptionist)
Melissa was born in Plant City, FL. She moved to St. Petersburg in 1981. She has
a 19 year old son, Adrian, 10 year old daughter, Taylor, and 4 cats. Between her
children's softball games, her bowling league and her 4 cats she keeps very
busy. She has worked at our hospital since we opened and has worked as a
receptionist in the Veterinary field for the past 10 years.

Doug Culmer
(Veterinary Assistant)
Doug is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he attended the W.B. Saul High
School of Agricultural Science and majored in small and large Animal Science. He
has over 8 years of experience and training in Laboratory Animal Medicine at the
University of Pennsylvania School Of Medicine and later worked as a lab animal
technician at the Robert Wood Johnson Pharmaceutical Research Institute in
Springhouse, PA. Doug is certified by the American Association of Laboratory
Animal Science, as both an Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician and Laboratory
Animal Technician.

Amber Jones
(Veterinary Technician)
| Amber Jones was originally from New Jersey, she relocated with her family to
Florida at a young age. In 2002, Amber received her Associates of Science
degree from Florida Metropolitan University. She currently is enrolling in St.
Petersburg College where she will receive her degree in Business. Amber stays
very active between work, school, and her children. . She has two girls,
5-year-old Brianna and 3-year-old Samantha. She also has two dogs and two cats
in her family. |
